We are currently recruiting for several Production Supervisory positions with our Food Industry clients throughout Western Canada.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The successful candidates must demonstrate strong leadership values, have strong organizational and communication skills and must possess excellent trouble shooting and process improvement skills. The individual will direct and manage the day to day efforts of the production staff to ensure that production goals are met and quality products are being produced efficiently and cost effectively.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assist in establishing production objectives and then manage the production process to reach or succeed the objectives
· Focus on maximizing production efficiency and minimizing plant waste levels while maintaining and improving product quality standards
· Provide hands on leadership and direction to production employees by coaching and managing in a positive and constructive fashion
· Communicate clearly, effectively and patiently with all employees
· Assist in scheduling employees and production shifts
· Develop and maintain a safe working environment
· Be flexible, capable and willing to be “hands on” to perform any technical or production related task

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preference will be given to candidates with:

A minimum of 1-4 years previous production supervisory experience.
Food industry experience.
Post secondary education.
Superior communications skills in a multi-cultural environment.
Previous demonstrated ability to manage production employees in a proactive and positive manner.
